Since you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
You must also rid yourselves of anger, sexual immorality, evil desires and greed. Because of these things the wrath of God is coming.
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts. And be thankful. singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.
And when Christ appears, then you will also appear with him in glory.
