Fellow Believers in Jesus Christ, we have been set apart to share the good news of God concerning his Son, who came in the flesh and was declared to be the Son of God, proven by his resurrection from the grave. And it is through our Lord Jesus Christ that we have received grace and the forgiveness of our sins.
Brothers and sisters in the Lord, do not be shy about sharing this good news, for it is the power of God to bring salvation and eternal life to everyone who believes. For it is through God’s Son that we receive the righteousness of God through faith. For the bible says that “the righteous shall live by faith.”
There is no excuse for not believing in God, for His eternal power and divine nature are clearly seen by everything He has made. And those who refuse to honor and thank Him, claiming that they are too wise to do so, are foolish, boastful, and proud in their own eyes. They forsake the truth for a lie, and worship and serve their own carnal desires. They do things that are not proper and commit indecent acts, having depraved minds and being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, evil, and selfish greed. – They not only commit such acts but give hearty approval to those who do them too. – And we know that the judgement of God rightly falls upon those who practice such things.
But the bible teaches that we all have sinned, and we cannot judge them without judging ourselves too. Each of us have done wrong things and fall short of the glory of God. So, we cannot boast.
That is why Jesus died on the cross. To suffer the punishment of our sins in our place. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. We are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement. He did this to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus. – It is because of this kindness, tolerance, and patience of God that we turn away from our sinful ways and persevere in doing good, and as a result receive forgiveness, immortality and glory.
Easter is a time for believers to rejoice in the resurrection of Christ and the hope it provides. For we believe that through his death and resurrection, we receive salvation and eternal life.
