About Prayer

Let us always pray; for It is God’s desire for His people to draw near to Him and make their requests known. John 4:8

“In every situation, pray with thanksgiving, and present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6

“This is the confidence we have in God: if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 1 John 5:14-15

“Call on me, says the Lord, come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.” Jeremiah 29:12

“The Lord is near to all who call on him.” Psalm 145:18

“For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer.” Peter 3:12

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep praying for all the Lord’s people. Ephesians 6:18

 And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites; for they love to pray and be seen. But when you pray, go into your room and pray. Then your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you. Matthew 6:5-7  

“Let us “Devote ourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.” Colossians 4:2

For we should, “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
