Jesus warned that in final days, charismatic leaders will appear claiming to speak for God, who will deceive many and lead them away from the truth.
They will come in sheep’s clothing but are inwardly ravenous wolves.”
Many will be devoured by them and devote themselves to these false teachers that say what their itching ears want to hear.”
More than ever, we who believe must stay rooted in God’s Word, standing firmly on God’s truth, having kind and humble spirits, even to those who oppose us.
For everyone living a godly life will be persecuted, as evildoers go from bad to worse. Such people will be conceited, greedy, boastful, unforgiving, and brutal: lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. — Loaded down with sins and evil desires.
Have nothing to do with such people.
Stay rooted in God’s Word, having a humble and loving spirit. Be God’s lights in a darkening world.
