[5] That is why, when Christ came into the world, he said to God,
“You did not want animal sacrifices or sin offerings.
But you have given me a body to offer.

Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good.

The righteous shall … still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing.

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord…. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters.

[5] The Son Is Greater Than the Angels
For God never said to any angel what he said to Jesus:
“You are my Son.
Today I have become your Father.”
God also said,
“I will be his Father,
and he will be my Son.”

[3] The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven.

[6] And I am praying that you will put into action the generosity that comes from your faith as you understand and experience all the good things we have in Christ.

[14] People who claim to be believers must learn to do good by meeting the urgent needs of others; then they will not be unproductive.

[7] Because of his grace he declared us righteous and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life.

Live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God
