Christians believe God gave humans free will. Free will is necessary for love and goodness to be genuine. Without the ability to choose, love would be meaningless.
Free will allows people to make choices, including those that result in evil actions.
This world is not as God intends for it to be. God is not the author of evil.
Christians are called to be “holy people” who do good deeds and exhibit the love of God even towards those who hate them.
This is the world the bible promises that will be and Christians eagerly wait for: “God’s dwelling place will be among the people. He will dwell with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. And there will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain.” Revelation 21:1-4
