“God is light; and in him there is no darkness at all.”
Light and darkness are eternal enemies. They cannot share the same space. When we flip a switch to turn on lights, it makes the darkness go away. And just as there is this is true in our physical universe, so it is also true of the spiritual realm.
Jesus said to his followers, “You are the light of the world… Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven”.
Christians are God’s ‘chosen’ ambassadors on earth. We serve the Creator of all, who is perfect in everything he does. God is pure holiness and light. And we are to be too.
“For as He who called us is holy, we are also to be holy in all of our conduct.”
Jesus said, “This is how people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
