It is vital for believers to always recall the miraculous deliverances and deeds of our God that are evidence of His overseeing love for each of us. For, it is our personal experience with God that keeps the flame of our faith burning.
So, when trials, afflictions, and broken hearts crush us, our Hope in God continues to give us the strength to persevere and to continue living righteously until our Lord comes.
We all will have seasons of trials, when our Christian character is tested and matured. During these stretches, it can seem that our prayers are not heard, and that our God is silent to our pleading.
It is then that we must stand firmly upon the Rock of Jesus’ promise to “never fail us, nor abandon us.” Then we can declare with confidence, “The Lord is my Helper, so I will not fear.”
