There are so many things happening in our world today that can cause us concern and worry. Everything is changing and it’s impossible to feel safe and to find peace.
But when we put our trust in Jesus, we are never alone. And He gives us the assurance that strengthens us.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27
Put your faith in Christ, our Savior, and see how your anxious thoughts disappear. “Happy are those who trust in the Lord, who rely on the Lord.” Jeremiah 17:7
If you are at the end of your rope today and do not know what to do, turn your eyes to the Lord, and wait for his deliverance. “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest for your souls. Matthew 11:28-30
As the time of our Lord’s return draws near. Things will become increasingly difficult, wickedness will increase and the love of many will grow cold. But we who persevere to the end in trusting God will be saved.” Matthew 24:12-13
“Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires. Commit everything you do to the Lord and trust him, and he will help you.” Psalm 37:1-5 Jesus says, “I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
